The house is situated in a quiet part of Nová Ves nad Nisou, at the foot of the "Cerna Studnice" (the black fountain). On top of this hill you will find an observation tower and restaurant. This newly-built house is located in the woods and makes an ideal accommodation for 7 (maximum 8) persons. There is a large fenced garden with a barbecue and sitting area. From here you have a view, on the one side of the Jizera Mountains, and on the other side of the Giant Mountains. In the vicinity you will find hiking trails and at a distance of just 300 meters there is the village with its restaurant and grocery store. In Jablonec nad Nisou, 5 km away, there are more shops. Small pets are welcome and you have access to both a garage and parking for 2-3 cars. This house is suitable for families with children. At the entrance there is a door to the garage. On the ground floor you will find: a dining room with a wood-burning stove; a bathroom equipped with a shower, sink and toilet; and a kitchen which contains a refrigerator, stove with ceramic hotplates and electric oven, coffee maker, kettle and microwave. On the first floor there is a second bathroom equipped with a shower, sink and toilet. In one of the bathrooms there is a washing machine. One of the bedrooms is furnished with three beds while the other has four beds. The living room has a television and a sitting area with a sofa bed suitable for 1 person. A highchair and child bed are available. The house is electrically heated. Tourist and cycling paths begin right from the accommodation and guarantee magnificent excursions into the surrounding nature, which includes the waterfall at Mumlavský Harrachov and a lookout tower with a restaurant. Another very popular destination is "Špičák", the highest peak in the region. In summer you can reach the top by chair lift. This area is ideal if you are looking for an active vacation. Here you will find a sensational summer toboggan run in Janov nad Nisou; a 9-hole golf course in Harrachov; and the opportunity for water sports and swimming in a lake at Jablonec. The clear water of the lake is constantly renewed by a spring. In Jablonec (5 km) you will also find a swimming pool and tennis court. Of course the Babylon Aquapark in Liberec, which is the best known and most modern aqua park in the Czech Republic, should not be missed either. Another popular tourist destination is the town of Harrachov. At a goat farm you can sample tasty freshly-made goat cheese and salami. The beer brewery and Glass and Jewelry Museum is also well worth a visit. There is a shop with beautiful and very special jewelry, including pieces made to order, just 2 km away. Perfect for that special gift idea. Also recommended: the city of Liberec with its wonderful shops and a zoo and, near the Polish border, the hill of "Ještěd" with its very special tower (the symbol of Czech Television) with restaurant. In this area you will never be bored! Smoking is not permitted in the house. Costs for energy (gas, electricity, water) will be charged by the administrator according to consumption. This original mountain accommodation lies in the valley of the Jizera River, at the foot of the Giant Mountains. The house has a big meadow where you will find a sandbox and trampoline (4m diameter) for the kids, wooden garden furniture and a parasol. This is a convenient location in the middle of the Giant Mountains. Here you have lots of opportunity for hiking and cycling through the beautiful surroundings (there is a network of well-marked paths). The nearest town is Jilemnice (8 km), where you will find all the necessary facilities: supermarket, shops, and opportunities to go out. The accommodation has plenty of parking. This is an excellent accommodation for up to 17 persons. The apartment is particularly suitable for families with children. Next to the hall there is a large common area of more than 40 m2 which contains darts, a table tennis table, a chalkboard for the children, child chairs and small benches, a DVD player, a radio with CD player and seating around a wood-burning stove. The fourth bedroom is furnished with a double bed and two single beds and has a bathroom and a toilet. The house is well-insulated and is heated by electric radiators. Downstairs there are also wood-burning stoves. Thanks to its favorable location, there is much to experience in the neighborhood. For example, you can go hiking or cycling along marked trails, or even horseback riding. You can also enjoy indoor sports activities 300 meters away at the local gym. Jilemnice (10 km) has an indoor swimming pool, a sauna and a castle. 20 km away there is Vrchlabí (literally translated: the tip of the Elbe), situated on the Elbe River. This is a typical tourist place with the Giant Mountains Museum (in a baroque monastery), a castle with a romantic nature park and a number of natural monuments nearby. Vrchlabí (50 km) is also a typical tourist center and offers a variety of sports opportunities such as a 4-km-long summer toboggan run. Here you will also find Monkey World, where both young and old can have fun. Between Horní Mísečky (10 km) and Vrchlabí there is a cableway. Labský důl (the valley of the Elbe River) is full of rocky gorges complete with numerous waterfalls, including Pancava vodopad, the Czech Republic's highest waterfall (250 meters). One of the best trails of Vrchlabí leads to the source of the Elbewerft, on a hill on the Medvědín, with a lookout tower, a plaque, the Pancava vodopad and gorgeous wooden houses. The Giant Mountains are sure to be an unforgettable experience! And of course there is nothing better than finishing an active day in one of the many restaurants with a good dinner. Dogs are welcome, but only by prior arrangement. In the (mostly wooden) house smoking is prohibited. During your stay the owner may check the accommodation.
