The Sugar Producers’ Palace on Senovážne Square in Prague is awaiting extensive reconstruction, which will soon convert the building into a representative five-star hotel. Since it is a listed building in the very heart of Prague, the reconstruction respects its historic value and the neighbouring buildings, complementing the unique feel of the place. The new hotel Le Royal Meridien Prague will be one of the world’s top hotels, which is matched by the stringent and precise preparation of the entire project. The goal of the extensive reconstruction is an empathetic conversion of the historical building from 1912 to a hotel offering the highest level of comfort to its guests. Much emphasis is placed on preserving the overall external appearance of the building, in particular its unique facade. When completed, the hotel will offer its guests 175 luxurious rooms, a spa and wellness centre, ball room, restaurant and many other services essential for the 5*plus hotel category. The reconstruction is planned to be finished in 2009.
