This apartment is situated on a quiet street in Prague's Vinohrady district, only 2 tram stops from the Náměstí Míru metro station and 3 tram stops from the IPPavlova metro station. This means that within a few minutes you can be in the center of Prague! Most of the sights can be reached on foot, sometimes aided by public transportation: metro, tram or taxi. There is a tram stop just 3 minutes away, where 3 lines converge. -- The best way to visit Prague is on foot as the historic center is a mixture of narrow streets with pedestrian zones. The owner of the apartment is a recognized leader and can show you the real face of Prague. He can guide you to places full of history and culture and can tell you a lot about Czech culture, language and folklore. As the name suggests, Deštná v Orlických Horách lies in the Eagle Mountains. The mountain is located near the Polish border, in a wonderful environment. Surrounded by beautiful mountain scenery, this is a place of relaxation. Here you can unwind from the stress of every day life while enjoying the Czech lifestyle. This is also a good starting point for hiking, cycling or exploring the surroundings by car. This new 3rd-floor studio is easily accessible for the disabled: in front of the building there are no steps, only a lift. The studio is suitable for a maximum of 4 persons. There is a parking lot next to the building. This studio apartment has a dining area for 4 persons which contains a mirror cabinet, a 2-person sofa, a double bed, satellite TV and a radio with CD player. It has a balcony. From the Velká Deštná you have a wonderful view of the Eagle Mountains from all sides. You can even see the Giant Mountains which have the highest peak in Bohemia. Deštné is the largest and most visited recreational area in the Eagle Mountains. It lies in the valley of two rivers. There are many wooden houses which are now used for tourist purposes. Within a radius of 5 km there are at least 3 conservation areas. These beautiful surroundings can be explored not just on cycling and hiking trails, but also on horseback. In Deštné you can rent a horse. There is also an information center where you can get tips on excursions. In addition there are two museums, a restaurant and wine bar here. In Bouda there is the largest artillery fortress (with museum) in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. On a 2-mile tour you can visit five buildings and rooms connected by underground tunnels. Dobruška is a city with a picturesque, historic center. Zemská brána ('the Gate to Earth') is a nature reserve on the Polish-Czech border. It is situated in a picturesque valley and has deep stone riverbeds, smugglers bridges, robbers caves and some interesting rock formations. In addition to Dobruška, a visit to the cities of Rychnov nad Knežkou, Nové Město nad Metují and Náchod are also highly recommended. Smoking is not allowed in the house. This nicely furnished apartment with balcony is located in a quiet neighborhood, just 3 km from the regional resort of Jeseník. There are many shopping and entertainment facilities here. The mountain of Jeseník is really beautiful and provides plenty of opportunity for an active holiday. Furthermore, mass tourism has not yet discovered it! This apartment "at the crossroads" is very spacious and suitable for 4 persons. You can make free use of the ADSL Internet connection. Cars can be parked in front of the house, on private property. You access this first floor apartment via a common front entrance. Most of the apartment's living space is taken up by the large living room which has a wonderful fireplace for those warm and cozy evenings. There is also a wide screen TV (home theater) with DVD player, a radio with CD player and a large couch here. From this room you come to a balcony overlooking the surrounding mountains. The modern kitchen is equipped with 4 electric hotplates, an oven, toaster, coffee maker, kettle and fridge plus 4 highchairs and 4 child chairs. The bedroom is furnished with a double bed. In the living room the sofa provides sleeping space for two additional persons. The bathroom has a sink, corner shower, toilet and hairdryer. There is also a washing machine and an iron and ironing board here. The apartment is sufficiently heated by the fireplace, but turning on the electric radiators is also possible. The Jeseniky Mountains are a large recreational area with a wide range of possibilities for leisure time fun. First, there are infinite possibilities for hiking and (mountain) biking along the landscaped paths. You can swim in a natural pool or in an indoor or outdoor swimming pool in the center of Jeseník. Jeseník also has extensive shopping centers, entertainment facilities and good inexpensive restaurants. Near the house there is a spa that specializes in treating the nervous system. The water here has a very beneficial effect. In the neighborhood of the spa, at the colonnade and its immediate vicinity, you will find a series of historical monuments and objects. The neighboring town of Lipová-lázně is also a spa and recreational metropolis. From Jeseník you can make as many trips as you like to the caves near Spicaku and Pomezi (7 km). Especially exciting is the resort town of Velké Losiny (36 km) with a castle and the oldest paper mill in Europe (still making paper) which is open to the public. The most impressive scenery in the region is undoubtedly the "Hrubý Jeseník" mountain chain (the "rough Jeseniky"), which extends from Ramzová (12 km) to Serák and from Červenohorské Mountain (17 km) to Praděd, the highest peak in the area. This lovely locale is about 50% covered by forests and contains numerous marked trails. There are many mountain streams rich in trout here as well. In Vrbno (32 km) there is Fisherman's Bastion where you can fish for a variety of fish (with a fishing license). Vrbno is known for its glass industry, and a trip to the Crystalex glass works is extremely interesting. There is also Michael Church, built around 1840 in Empire style. Other sightseeing cities which are a bit further away include: Bruntal (42 km), Rýmařov (42 km), Šumperk (47 km) and Králíky (47 km). This very comfortably furnished apartment, built in 2005, lies in Mid-Bohemia, between the towns of Nymburk and Jičín. It is just slightly more than an hour by car from the capital city of Prague. Rožďalovice is a small historical town on the Mrlině River, dominated by the two towers of the local church and surrounded by beautiful woods and numerous little lakes. The apartment enjoys a special location: directly at the "Jenda Rajman" Museum and Bookbinders’ Workshop. Situated above the museum and equipped with a pergola, it has a furnished roof terrace with a garden shower and lava rock grill. From the terrace you see the street on one side and the roofs of the town's houses on the other. It is an ideal accommodation for 3 persons, maximum 4. On the ground floor there is a garage for two cars. The bedroom/sitting room is furnished with one double bed and one single bed. In the sitting area there is a couch that can serve as the fourth sleeping place. There are two comfortable chairs and a TV-set here as well. The kitchen/dining area is fully equipped and contains a table and chairs while in the kitchen you'll find sufficient cupboard space, 4 ceramic hot plates, an electric oven with extraction fan, a microwave, a toaster, coffeemaker, an electric kettle and a fridge with a separate freezer compartment. The surrounding woods and numerous little lakes offer limitless possibilities for biking trips, pleasant walks and mushroom hunts. In the direct neighborhood you can find many century-old trees. It is an excellent starting point for a variety of excursions, such as to Dětenice with its castle, brewery and medieval tavern; the castle in Staré Hrady; Jabkenice with its monument dedicated to the composer Bedřich Smetana; the watchtower of Hrubý Jeseník and Bučice with a mill by the lake. In the neighborhood there is the fairytale town of Jičín and the Bohemian Paradise with enchanting places like the castles of Kost and Humprecht. Or what about a day in Prague, with its castle, Charles’s Bridge, Old Square and the 750 m long Wenceslas Square? Smoking is forbidden in the house.
